Pick 1 Marketing Strategy

The first tip I can give you when it comes to doing network marketing on the Internet is to pick one marketing strategy or technique and master it.  One of the biggest problems people face is that they get overwelmed with all the different marketing methods.  You have article marketing, video marketing, Facebook, PPC, ezines, banner advertising, etc…

Most network marketers will try one strategy for a week and if they don’t see results, they stop and try another one.  This is not a get rich quick type of business.  Success does not (and will not) happen overnight.  Pick one marketing strategy, and commit yourself to using that strategy until you’ve mastered it.  Don’t quit or give up for at least 90 days.

Stay Focused

Another big thing that can really hurt your success doing network marketing on the Internet is what I call “shiney object syndrome”.  The more you are on the Internet, the more can get distracted.  Most of us get bombarded every day with emails about all these new programs or software that can make you rich.  Software that can give you instant traffic to your site with one click.

99% of this stuff is bogus.  However, when you are first getting started online, you are going to run into some frustration.  Everyone does.  It’s important that you don’t allow yourself to get distracted with all of these, well, distractions.  Don’t loose focus on what you are doing.  This leads me to my last tip…

Set A Marketing Schedule

Staying focused is key to successfully doing network marketing on the Internet.  We just talked about all the distractions so this last tip is going to help you stay focused.  You need to make a daily marketing schedule for yourself.  Whether you can work 1, 2, 4, or 10 hours per day on your business, you need to have a marketing schedule.  I am going to use article marketing for example, because that’s my main marketing strategy.

When I sit down every morning to write articles and blog posts, I don’t check my email, I don’t check Facebook, or things like that.  I bring up Google docs (where I write and save my articles) and I write.  Once I’m done with my article, there is a couple of other things I do to it to start my syndication / sharing process.

Now, once I’m done, I do make time to check emails, search around on Facebook, watch some training videos in the MyLeadSystemPro back office (the training community where I learned everything I know about network marketing and Internet marketing).  A lot of people will jump on the computer and check emails and Facebook and those things first.  Next thing you know an hour goes by and you haven’t even started with your marketing strategy.

So whatever marketing method you choose, make sure you put a daily marketing schedule into action, and most importantly, make sure you follow it.

Doing network marketing on the Internet isn’t that hard once you simplify what’s important and what you need to focus on.  Now that you know what do to, how to do it, and how to stay focused, you should have no problem building your network marketing business online.

When it comes to building a successful network marketing Internet business, there are a few things that you need to focus on.  Now don’t get me wrong, the Internet has done an amazing job of bringing people together, however, it has also made things very impersonal.  So when building your business on the Internet, it’s very important to try and bring that personal feeling online.

So my goal with this article is to go over 3 important tips that are going to help you be more successful in building your network marketing Internet business.

Building A Successful Network Marketing Internet Business

Tip #1 – Create Your Home On The Web

Personal Blog

The first thing you should have in place if you are trying to build your network marketing Internet business online is a personal blog.  This is going to be your home on the Internet where you put yourself out there and start the relationship building process.  The important thing here is to focus on personal branding.  You want your blog to say YOU!

Take the time to dress your blog up and personalize it to you.  If you are reading this article directly from my blog, you can see that I have a picture of myself on the top of my blog.  With so much junk on the Internet, having a personalized personal blog will auto-matically make your prospects feel more comfortable as soon as they land on your site.  Because they will feel like they are actually dealing with a real person!

When building a network marketing Internet business, this should be your first step.

Tip #2 – Provide Valuable Content

Create Content

Once you have your home on the web, it’s time to start putting content there.  Now, this is the part that most people get nervous about but I can assure you, it’s not as hard as people think.  When it comes to putting content on your blog, there is lots you can talk about.  Talk about why you joined network marketing, why you chose your company, what your goals are, start learning different tricks and training from other people and talk about what you learned.  You can talk about news that’s happening in the industry, motivational things, the list goes on…

The important thing here is to be yourself.  DO NOT copay someone else or copy anyone’s content.  Remember, this is your blog so you can talk about or write about anything you want.  Just make sure it’s coming from you.  You can either post articles or videos to your blog.  Most people don’t feel comfortable getting in front of the camera, and that’s ok.  But if you do, that’s great too.

Tip #3 – Start Building Relationships

Once you start adding content to your blog, it’s important that you connect and engage with your visitors.  When you get comments on your blog, make sure you respond.  Also, make sure you have social media icons on your blog that hook up to your Facebook, Twitter, and so on.  This way as people come to your site, that can easily connect or follow on your social media sites.  Integrating social media on your blog is a great way to start building relationships.

One thing you can do to speed up the process is to take the content you are placing on your blog, and share it on the social networks.  If you focus on providing value, people will share your content and they will want to connect with you and get to know you.  Once you get to this stage, your network marketing Internet business will start to grow faster and faster.

There is obviously a lot more that goes into building a successful network marketing Internet business, but I truly believe that the tips I talked about here are most important.  If you are serious about your business, it will definitely be worth your time and worth the cost to invest in joining a solid training community that will have the training and support system to help you along the way.

Personal Development / Mindset

This is absolutely key.  Before you do anything else in your business, you need to make sure your mindset and personal development is on point.  In order to develop the “success Mindset” you need to be working on personal development EVERY day.  No exceptions.  This could be an hour of reading, listening to audios, watching motivational videos, etc…  For me personally, I listen to or read Jim Rohn, Brian Tracey, and Tony Roberts for at least an hour a day.

You want to make sure your mind is ready for success.  You need to see yourself as a successful person and believe that you deserve success.  People won’t see you as a successful person unless you do first.  This may sound easy, but I assure you that’s not the case.  This is a huge reason why people fail in this industry… Because they don’t work on personal development.  Out of all the network marketing tips we talk about today, this is probably the most important.

I did it backwards when I first started, and it wasn’t until I had my personal development and my mindset right that I started to see success in my business.

Network Marketing Tips – Find A Solid Training Community

Training Community

No matter what your primary company may be, I can almost guarantee that the training they provide is either outdated or inneffective for the most part.  Having the proper training is crucial in this industry. (I actually wrote an article on why it’s so important – Click Here to read it.)

Not only is training important, but it’s also important to surround yourself with other like minded individuals who are in the trenches building a business just like you.  In addition to that, this industry and marketing in general is always changing.  It’s important that you are changing with it and changing the way your market your business.  One of the best ways to do that is to be involved with a solid training community that is always on the cutting edge of whats working now.

This way you are able to connect with other network marketers who are building their businesses and evolving with the industry.  For me, I found my home with MyLeadSystemPro (MLSP).  And I can honestly say that without this community and training (and they also have done for you marketing campaigns) I would be lost in the online marketing world.

Network Marketing Tips – Creating A Daily Schedule / Routine

Daily Schedule / Routine

It is extremely important that you work on your business for at least 1-2 hours per day, Minimum.  If you can work more, great.  Now, when I say work, I don’t mean messing around on the computer reading this or watching that.  I mean doing work, preferable work that is going to make you money.

When it comes to marketing and building your business, there is a variety of ways to do so.  With online marketing, there is articles, videos, social media, PPC, online classifieds, ezine, etc.. It’s important to pick one marketing strategy and commit to mastering it.  Once you have the marketing strategy you want to master, work at it EVERYDAY.

Making a shcedule is very important.  If you know you can only work two hours each night on your business, write it down and commit yourself to those two hours.  If you don’t get into a routine of committing yourself to IPA’s (Income Producing Activities) each day, you’ll never make it.
