When doing article marketing, there is a few things you want to keep in mind… First, you want to write about topics related to the MLM industry.  This could be company reviews, reviews of industry leaders, training tips, etc…  Once you know what you are going to write about, you need to make sure you have a compelling title that is going to grab your prospects attention, make sure the article is relevant to what you’re writing about, and be certain that your article is 100% unique.

Now that you have written your article, you are going to want to post it to your blog or website.  The next step is to share your article on various social media sites, web 2.0 sites, and then submit your article to article directories with a link back to your blog or website.  By doing this you are creating massive exposure for your article, while at the same time building backlinks to help your article rank on the first page of Google for your chosen keyword.

Video Marketing

Video Marketing – This online MLM marketing strategy is very similar to article marketing, and the two can actually be used together for even better results.  The whole idea behind video marketing is to create compelling content but instead of articles, you’re going to create videos.  Now most people get nervous here, but not too worry.  It’s actually a very simple strategy.

There are two types of videos you can create… You can get in front of the camera and talk (which most people are terrified to do), or you can create a slide show.  With video marketing, you want to follow the same process as you would with article marketing.  Make sure the keyword you are trying to rank for is in your title, make sure you’re description is accurate and also includes your keyword, and make sure you include a link to your blog or website.

When you are finished, you want to distribute your video to as many video sharing sites as possible.

**Quick Tip**  To use article marketing and video marketing together, you can create a short video describing your article and then submit that video to all the different sharing sites with a link back to your article.

First, and most important, remember that social media is all about building relationships (which is what this industry is all about anyway, right?).  Now, this strategy will not yield overnight results, but if done right, you can set yourself up for an endless flow of leads for life.

The whole idea with this strategy is to build relationships using social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc…  Make sure you connect with people, provide value, and never, never try to pitch your business.  Wait for them to ask you about your business.  If you do it right, you will be in good shape.

Google shows articles in the search results because articles are a great source of information.  So if you write articles about topics related to the network marketing industry, you can get a lot of traffic to your website from the Google search results.  You can write reviews, how to articles, news about the industry, inspiration / motivational articles, you name it.  Writing articles and submitting them to article directories is completely free to do and it can bring you a lot of traffic and tons of network marketing leads.

Next we are going to talk about Facebook.  You can use Facebook in conjunction with article marketing, and video marketing as well.  This part is easy… All you really want to do is get on Facebook and just connect with like minded people.  When I say like minded people, I mean other people that are already, in some way involved in the network marketing/home business industry.  You can do this by joining different groups related to our industry.  Through there you will start to make lots of friends.

The power of Social Media

Now once you start writing your articles, simply share them on Facebook for all of your new friends to enjoy.  This seems simple, but I cannot describe how powerful this can be.  As long as your write good informational articles, people will start to share your content.  This a great way to get a ton of leads through the power of social media.
Lastly, we’re going to talk about video marketing, which is very similar to article marketing.  Video marketing usually scares people because the majority of us absolutely hate being in front of the camera.  Basically, all you want to do is create a 3-5 minute video and submit it to different video sharing sites like Youtube.  The video can be you talking to the camera, or you can record a power point presentation on your computer and record that.

You can talk about your opportunity, tips and tricks related to network marketing, motivational things, just about anything and everything related to the network marketing / home based business industry.  Once you’ve posted your video, follow the same process as with the articles.  Share your video on Facebook!  It’s the same concept… Share your video just like would your article with all of your new friends of Facebook, which most of them are interested in our industry.  People will start sharing your content with their friends and so on, bringing tons of fresh eyes back to you, thus generating you tons of network marketing leads.
